Audiences will be transported back in time to experience all the thrills of the original rock ‘n’ rollers in this electrifying, high-energy, concert extravaganza featuring Billy McGuigan and the Rave On Band.
Billy McGuigan’s Rave On! features Buddy Holly’s biggest hits like ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘Everyday’, ‘Oh Boy’, ‘True Love Ways’ and of course, ‘Rave On’. But that’s only part of it! Billy and the Rave On Band celebrate the birth of an era and pay homage to Buddy’s fellow rockers!
Meet Billy McGuigan
Billy McGuigan is an acclaimed performer, recently inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame. He has performed on the Paramount Pictures Lot in Hollywood, headlined in Las Vegas, toured internationally on top cruise lines, and collaborated with world-class orchestras like the Grammy-nominated Omaha Symphony and the Orlando Philharmonic. Known for his dynamic stage presence and ability to connect with audiences, Billy’s passion for music has led him to break box office records across North America, making him a must-see performer.
Tech Crew Camp
Taking place alongside Rave On! at SumTur Amphitheater, students ages 10 - 18 will experience the full backstage journey from load-in to load-out.
From setting the stage and mixing in-ear monitors to running sound and lights, working front-of-house, selling merch, and more, students will learn what it really takes to put on a professional show. Each day offers hands-on training with real gear and real responsibilities as part of a working tech crew.
Perfect for students interested in production, sound, lighting, and live events. Offered by the McGuigan Arts Academy as part of their summer camps.
